Bear Hug (Collaboration)
When my friend Ed Foose asked me to work on this film, I jumped on the offer!
Ed was looking for 2D animators to create characters to act alongside the human actors in this "growing up" tale, where imaginary friends are real... but disowned after turning 10 ("double digits", as they put it in the film).
Robyn Pennypacker and myself animated the Shark character, passing off some clean-up duties to assistants. Additionally, I was given the title of Post Production Manager, organizing who was animating what shots, what shots needed line clean-up, and what needed coloring to help Ed wrap up the film.
The film went on to win some awards, becoming an Official Selection for both the LA Indie Film Festival 2014 and Glovebox Film Festival 2015.
